For those people in Brisbane City you may have noticed my photo in Issue 128 of the City News dated 9 March 2006 advertising the Brisbane City Council's Active and Healthy Lifestyle Program.
Every Sunday in March we have been at different parks throughout Brisbane for Dancing In The Parks. It's been a lot of fun but I'll be glad to get my Sunday's back.
In the past week I suffered the loss of my dog Gomez.
I loved him very much.
He was 13 years old and he was suffering from heart problems for the last couple of years which he and we had been fighting against and last Saturday it finally was too much for him and he had a massive heart attack and died .
I have been very upset all week.
He had been around for all the major events of my adult life and was always there for me no matter what and he was a member of our family.
He had a wonderful nature and could always be counted upon to cheer me up in those times that I was mightily depressed.
I feel a great loss and I will miss him immensely.
Anyway these song lyrics show how I felt about him and are really just to make distinction and to note publicly how much he meant to me.
I promise that I will write something more soon.
