QUOTE FOR THE DAY:
“One
loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives” *************************************************************** Loyalty is an impressive and endearing quality in a friend; loyalty is a human quality that is often abused by those who use other people. A person who is loyal never backs down from helping or supporting someone. A loyal person will stand by their friends during the darkest of hours and ask for nothing in return. Loyalty is an unconditional quality much like true love. It goes hand in hand with caring. I am as about as loyal a friend as anyone could ever ask for. If there is a downside to loyalty it is the sheer blindness that those who are loyal show to the ones they care for. This makes loyal people ripe to be used. I compare loyalty with the love your pet dog has for you. That is how I am when dealing with the people I love and consider friends. The loyal puppy dog that obeys his master’s wishes, and treasures nothing more than an occasional pet. Even if the master beats and abuses the dog, the dog never stops loving the master and comes back again looking for pets even after it has been kicked. It takes a very hard breaking point to snap an animal’s
loyalty. The same holds for me. I have taken abuse and been used by people I’ve cared about in the past, particularly lovers, that boggled the imagination before I finally realized what had happened and let go. Is that show of loyalty a bad thing? No, it showed how strong and trustworthy I am. The person who used me and betrayed me only showed how weak they were and disgraced themselves in the action of using and betraying me. You should never be ashamed or embarrassed for being loyal. It makes you a better person than most. Nuff Said
