The shine may radiate with subtlety, but is in the manner of all the things that they say and do: whether that be a simple gesture, a soft-spoken word, one grand endeavour, or by an anonymous gift.

You will know them by their eyes alone.

They will smile and it will touch their eyes to give away a hint of the genuineness and brilliance beneath.

What you glimpse in that instant will remain with you, noticed or unnoticed at first, to be noted as a singular shining moment that began an intimate change in your life.

You may not be able to put your finger on the exact thing, which moved your heart.

You will simply know without explanation that at one time you had been lucky enough to have seen and stood just so close to a star, and that it, or they, had seen you, too.

We are lucky to notice those who shine.

To be infected by their unique inspiration, kindness, and fortitude.

To witness their discovery of God-given gifts which often call us to witness and celebrate our own.

When we meet a truly blessed spirit we are never the same.

Afterwards, we know that we are all here for unique reasons more important than we may be able to fathom or understand.
