QUOTE FOR THE DAY:
"I
know how alone you feel... alone in all that cold blackness... but I'm there in
the dark with you, you're not alone... You remember that time, you were
pretty drunk, you probably don't remember... the power went out at the old
apartment, the one on Orange Street... and we were staring at that one little
candle, and I said something really dumb like that candle is me, like every one
of us is out there alone in the dark in this life... and you lit another candle
and put it beside mine and said "that's me"... and we stared at the
two candles, and then we... well, if you remember any of it, I'm sure you
remember the next part. There are two candles in the dark. I'm with you.
I'll always be with you." *************************************************************** There are times when words seem to fail. Of all the words in the English language, there just doesn’t seem to be a word or a phrase that
fits right now. It’s frustrating at times to not be able to say what it is that I wish to say. It’s frustrating to not be able to express my true emotions. When
I write, I find that usually I can express my ideas, thoughts or feelings rather well. The written word comes so easy for me, but the spoken word does not. Who am I
fooling? Sometimes the written word does not come easy for me, not when it comes to my own emotions. Tonight I am frustrated because I cannot convey what is on my mind and in my heart. It’s maddening to me to not be able to do that. I can’t do it with speech nor can I do it with the written word. It’s driving me crazy...
